Emanuele Galiffi is an incoming Assistant Professor at the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Texas at Austin.
Our group's research focuses on exotic wave phenomena in electromagnetism, nanophotonics, acoustics and elasticity. We are especially interested in classical and quantum electromagnetic wave dynamics in time-varying media, which can produce exotic effects, such as time-reflection, nonreciprocity and amplification.
